The central piece of the Fresh Flesh series and the most significant work of this creative phase. It was through this work that I truly understood the deep therapeutic value of art in my life. This piece was created over the course of six months and was constantly enriched with new materials and elements. It started with alcohol inks, followed by layers of spray paints and a multitude of small details, from scratches and smudges to words and phrases.

When the work was finally completed, I was able to understand what it was about and why it was created. Its story – the foundational basis, imprints and scars, the experience and the lessons drawn from it – all of this, along with the emotions unconsciously embedded within it, suddenly became clear to me in an instant, and this painting received a very distinct interpretation. And I realized – I know what it’s about, why certain parts are scraped off, why the signature is done with a simple pencil, why it contains those specific words.

An abstract artist never creates a single line without reason. And even the chance to understand why they make a particular choice is infinitely valuable.
