The foundation for this work is almost like a flaw. Unsuccessful traces of an unsuccessful attempt. Perhaps this fact led me to thoughts about what and where leaves traces. In our memories, hearts, lives. I wanted to create a piece of work that would be like a bench in an old park, a work that would preserve the images of those who sat on it, fell in love, parted, laughed, or cried. The characters I found in this work seemed to have emerged from it themselves and told me the words written on it.

Perhaps this is the most delicate work in the series. To uncover everything hidden on it, one needs to explore it for a long time. The edges of the work are painted in a special way so that when sunlight falls on it, it glows. Like the sun’s reflection on that very lake in front of which the bench stands.

This work is filled with air, dreams, and hopes. Do you remember that carefree feeling from childhood when the whole world was before you? That’s what this work is about.
