The beginning of this work was laid by my close friend. I was simply introducing her to the materials and suggested choosing a couple of colors to try out. The palette that ended up on the surface inspired me so strongly that I couldn’t bring myself to erase it.
But one layer seemed insufficient. Acrylic was poured over the ink. I didn’t feel the work was finished, but I knew its time would come. Almost a year later, when I returned to it, I realized that even a second layer wasn’t enough. All liquid techniques are considered experimental, yet somehow in the art community, it seemed as if pouring alcohol ink over acrylic wasn’t widely accepted… Perhaps that’s why this work boldly became a part of this series – yes, the third layer was done with ink.
After that, I simply relaxed and immersed myself in this cosmic color palette. There, I found strange characters, a constellation of stars, the signatures of comets, and many other forms. This galaxy became another manifesto of freedom.
